About

CLYVE Eye Revision Surgery

Delicate Design, Precise Transformation

Various Eye Reoperation Methods

Although they may look similar externally, the reasons for needing revision surgery are all different.

While there are methods to create a new double eyelid line,
depending on eye shape, skin thickness, skin laxity, fat volume, skin sagging, etc.,
a forehead lift or sub-brow excision may also be necessary.

Eye reoperation is not simply about recreating an existing double eyelid line,
but accurately understanding the current eye structure and changes from previous surgery is crucial.

How It Works

Revision Eye Surgery Method

Surgical Diagnosis and Design
STEP 01

Surgical Diagnosis and Design

We meticulously check for asymmetry, line loosening, and adhesion status from previous surgeries. Considering the structure of the eyes and facial harmony, we plan the revision surgery line to match the desired direction.

Adhesion and Scar Tissue Dissection
STEP 02

Adhesion and Scar Tissue Dissection

Carefully separate adhesions and scar tissue formed by previous surgery. Minimize unnecessary tissue damage while securing stable movement of restricted tissue.

Tissue Repositioning and Restoration
STEP 03

Tissue Repositioning and Restoration

Areas with insufficient tissue are supplemented as needed, and excessively removed tissue is restored according to its condition. If necessary, correction is performed considering the function of eye opening.

Line Redesign and Suturing
STEP 04

Line Redesign and Suturing

The double eyelid is precisely re-fixed according to the newly designed line. We meticulously adjust the left-right balance and the flow of the eye shape to complete a natural double eyelid line.

Timing

Eye Revision Surgery Timing

After surgery, it generally takes about 6 months to 1 year
for scars and swelling to stabilize and for the double eyelid line to fully settle.
Therefore, performing eye revision surgery approximately 6 months after the initial procedure allows for more stable tissue handling
and is advantageous for predicting surgical outcomes.

However, depending on the condition of the eyes, early revision surgery may be necessary.
Even within 1 month after surgery or between 1 and 6 months, the timing of revision surgery can be determined at the medical team's discretion,
comprehensively considering the current condition, the degree of tissue adhesion, and the effects of revision surgery.

Acute Phase Revision Surgery

If the eye shape is overcorrected immediately after surgery or if there is a high possibility of adhesion in the wrong area, revision surgery to correct it early and release the adhesion within 1 month after surgery may be considered.

Mid-term Revision Surgery

Generally, this is not the recommended time for revision surgery, but it can be performed restrictively after a comprehensive assessment of the current tissue condition, the necessity of revision, and the potential impact on scars and adhesions.

Revision Surgery for Past Results

This is a revision surgery performed after at least 6 months have passed since the initial surgery, when scars and internal tissues are sufficiently stable. In most cases, revision surgery proceeds after waiting for the tissues to stabilize.

After Care

Post-Surgery Premium Aftercare

Recovery is managed with the same care as the surgery. This is CLYVE's post-operative recovery program.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Chamber

Hyperbaric Oxygen TherapyHyperbaric Chamber

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is a program that helps supply oxygen to tissues, enabling more systematic management of the recovery process. It is provided for a more comfortable recovery after surgery.

Healite Device
Care 02

HealiteSmart LUX

Utilizing specific wavelengths of energy, it aids cell activation and tissue recovery, as well as alleviating post-surgical swelling and bruising, and can help with skin regeneration and scar management.

Scar Injection
Care 03

Scar InjectionScar Injection

If the scar at the incision site becomes firm or red after surgery, scar injections can help alleviate excessive scar tissue proliferation, promoting a smoother and more stable recovery.

Scar Management Laser Equipment
Care 04

Scar Management LaserFractional CO2

After surgery, laser care is performed on the incision area to aid skin regeneration and tissue recovery, supporting stable healing.

The post-operative care program may vary depending on the scope of surgery and recovery progress, and detailed information will be provided during consultation.

Why Clyve

Why CLYVE Eye Revision Surgery is Special

Illustration measuring and analyzing eye structure and double eyelid lines

Accurate Analysis of the Cause of Failure.

Rather than simply recreating the double eyelid line, we meticulously analyze the issues from previous surgeries, adhesions, scars, and tissue condition to determine the direction of revision surgery.

Illustration of separating adhesions and scar tissue

Delicate dissection of adhesions and scar tissue.

We precisely separate adhesions and scar tissue formed by previous surgeries, reduce unnecessary damage to normal tissue, and secure the tissue mobility required for revision surgery.

Diagram: Reconstructing lines by supplementing deficient tissue

Securing sufficient tissue and line reconstruction

By repositioning deficient or damaged tissues, we supplement volume and thickness, and considering the power to open the eye and the stability of the line, we create a new, more natural and firm double eyelid line.

Natural double eyelid line completed to match the eye shape

Design tailored to your eye shape and delicate fixation

We comprehensively consider individual eye shape, left-right balance, and eyelid opening strength for design, and ensure delicate fixation tailored to the skin and tissues to maintain natural and stable results for a long time.
